Jeep Talk / Re: Offroaders.com

I've had Treadwrights Puma ATs on my Grand Cherokee for going on 4 years now and I love them.  I had issues with one sidewall cracking and I had one explode on me at trail maintenance two years after buying them, treadwright replaced both no questions asked.

Dang - It's grown up so much from the little meat cooler that it once was...

Awesome!  Brad and Ang got a kick out of it.

Apparently I made the "whoops" section of the April issue of Petersons.  Anyone get the physical magazine?  I can only find digital copies.

Thanks!

Trail Rides / Re: What Lies Beyond's Operation Snowbound
November 18, 2014, 12:56:32 PM
Good Afternoon,
As of today, all registration spots have been filled for What Lies Beyond Jeep Club's Operation: Snowbound!

We have created a waiting list for potential spots in case anyone is not able to make it.  If you are unable to attend, please email snowbound@whatliesbeyond.org as soon as possible so that we may get your spot filled.

We need each registered vehicle to please fill out the following form, allowing event organizers to better gauge trail difficulties and driver experiences.  This form is required, as it also serves as the liability waiver for the event.

The form is located at:

So what is the lay of the land for this event?  Is this something that my entire family can come and help out at?  I have a four year old and a nearly 8 year old.  We want to be active members in the club but I don't want anyone to be in the way.

I really think my 8 year old daughter would be all over this if she had a "job" to do....Very outgoing kid.

Just let us know how we can help.

Kids are more than welcome!  I know the ones that have came with their parents in the past have had a blast (as long as they don't mind the cold).  Not only do they get to check out some pretty crazy off-road vehicles, but it's also fulfilling for them to help collect money/food and stuff.

Flyer has been updated.  Since I linked to a copy on our web server, it has updated across the boards I posted on as well.  Here is the PDF of the flyer.

Mark spotting me on the hill was great, it went from spotting to chasing after my jeep.   Forgot he'd never wheeled with me before.

Events / Mounds Sunday Sept 14th

Throwing it out there - most of the club is going to Grayling but I am sticking closer to home for the maiden voyage of the TJ.  Heading to the Mounds on Sunday if anyone is interested in joining.  I think Mark is going to try to make it out as well.

I've updated to the latest version of Tapatalk on the server.  If you haven't tried it on your Android or iOS device yet - it's free and a great way to use the forum!

If you still have it - I am interested.  Do you still have the remote?  The solenoid and remote for my winch are toast.

The "What Lies Beyond" flag is cool, we need to get some!

I believe Cody was the one who made it :)

It was two defective shirts - hooked to a piece of PVC pipe that fit over a FireStick.
