I will give those a look-see Alan to make sure, it really has to be something simple like that that I am overlooking. 

Does anyone have trailer they want to rent to me for the week of July 13-18?  Buying one did not work into our plans and the trailer my coworker offered was not a good solution.

Fan clutch was brand new out of the box, it was purchased last year when I swapped the radiator, didn't realize I forgot it until after everything was back together.

New radiator and thermostat last year.  Started overheating at idle at the Memorial Day parade.  As soon as I start  moving, everything goes back to normal operating temp.  On the road, on the freeway runs at normal temp.  Swapped out the fan clutch today, should have done it last summer when I did the radiator.  No improvement.  Plenty of coolant, right at the full mark.  My brain says it is not acting like a water pump or thermostat, my gut says I should swap them out anyways.  Am I missing something?

OK #4 required a trip to Harbor Freight for a bigger angle grinder and some cut off discs.  But #4 done!

Now the tough part, help me with the math.  Fixed lower control arms +1" longer than stock.  2.5-3" taller front springs than stock.  How long should my adjustable uppers be for optimum driving pleasure?  Can you all see why I switched from engineering to liberal arts early in my failed higher educational experience?

Bring it over. I have done it and I have a torch.  The old one WILL come out.  You can get them cheaper at a place line Autozone, but they are not Timken.

Ditto, don't pay someone when we could have a good old fashioned cursing festival.  Buy beer and hide the children!

Work is setting up a session at Groveland Twp fire hall.  There is room for about 10 folks if you are interested. 

Cost is $50, 8 hours of training spread over at least 2 nights.  Dates not certain yet. 

This will include adult and infant CPR, AED instruction, and basic first aid.

So easy an accountant can do it.  But a simple job that can be a real &/¥×*=&/*£/ if they have not been removed or replaced recently, breakimg the rust loose the first time can be a real nut buster.

Just when you thought it wouldn't happen again this year, the baby steps to making "14' of Orange" a little more durable has begun.  3 out of 4 front links off without too much trouble, one stubborn axle-end lca bolt frozen in the sleeve.  We hosed it down one last time with PB Blaster hoping it will cooperate tomorrow otherwise Mr Sawzall will make his first appearance.

I wouldn't give up yet - try UORC or Jeeperz Creeperz or Ironman to see if they have a better relationship with a customer servide rep.  No guarantees, but worth a couple of phone calls.

Jonathon reminded me no fun with the Jeep until we get some work done on it.  Time is running short before our trip to MN, time to get it in the garage and actually do the project we planned almost 2 years ago.
