Another offroad parts company that wants to scold us for using their parts offroad... Unreal! Look into a replacement from BDS - their "no fine print warranty" is the real deal - my after 3-4 years my track bar failed and I called them and they shipped an new one out to Vehicle accessories for me - literally no questions asked... just had to pay shipping of $14.00.

+1 on that Ed.  BDS ISBAD ASS[/

I was in MOAB and blew a bushing on my BDS control arm.  One of the JKS guys were on the trail with me and said to make sure I come by their tent and he gave me a complete rebuild kit.  Didn't care where I bought it or it I bought it new or used.

Jeep Talk / CrawlTek LJ Rubicon Build
April 04, 2017, 09:55:56 AM
So I wanted to share with everyone what I've been a part of for the last few weeks.  I've been up at Unlimited Offroad helping them with the new CrawlTek Jeep build.  I am lucky to have friends in this club like Mark and Ed where I've learned enough to help on something.  I learned so much from them having Jeeps up on Mark's lift and that knowledge transfer helped me be of some kind of assistance with this build.

If you haven't seen the new CrawlTek line, check this out.  I've been up nearly every night for the last 10 days working on either getting my Jeep ready for Easter Jeep Safari or working on this:

You guys are the first to officially see this, though there have been a few posts on FB from Adam, this is the completed product.

There is a great documentary on that battle on the history channel.  It's a couple hours long if I recall and has some pretty awesome details about it including how they used GPS and the Iraqi Army was completely dumbfounded.  This was not the regular Iraqi army but the Iraqi Republican Guard which was their special forces division.  They had better training and new equipment than the regular Iraqi Army and they got completely devastated.

You typed all that from your Samsung phone Paul?  Your fingers must be bleeding!

I've read an article or two about that and vinyl is what seems to hold up much better.

Thanksgiving Day is fast approaching.  Our annual food drive for the Food Bank of Eastern MI takes place at the Mounds ORV park on Thanksgiving Day, which is the busiest day of the year at the park.  We need three teams of volunteers:

Wednesday evening (appx 2 hours, 3:30-5:00-ish)  We need about 6 people to set up for the event - we have a big 10x20 shelter plus 2 smaller Easy Up-style shelters, plus moving some tables, setting up electrical connections, etc.

1.  Paul
2.  Mark & Wendy
3.  Brent
4.  The Daron's
5.  Ed
6.  Anthony & Tyler

Thanksgiving early morning (appx. 4 hours 6am to 10am)  We need a minimum of 4 people to start the coffee and hot water, set out snacks and collection boxes, distribute flyers and collect donations.

1.  Kevin
2.  Denis
3.  Mark & Wendy
4.  Brent
5.  The Daron's
6.  Jim & Jane

Thanksgiving late morning (appx 4 hours 9am-1pm)  We need a minimum of 6 people to continue to distribute flyers and collect donations, and as the crowd thins out to start organizing the boxes of donations for delivery to the Food Bank, and break down the shelters.

1. Ed
2. Russ
3. Paul & Jonathon
4. The Erwins
5.
6.

So I just re-read the setup time and there is no way that we can make it there before 5 so....Not sure its worth having us come.  We will be there early Thanksgiving morning though.  I'm sorry.  I should have read that closer.
