I put a 2" Zone suspension lift on my TJ and there wasn't much to it.  I chose the 2" because of exactly what Ed said.  No need to mess with slip yoke eliminators, drive line vibration, and a minimal chance of death wobble.  Next I'll put a 1" body lift on and that's as far is she's getting to the sky.  The Zone lift wasn't terribly expensive.  I think around $300.  If you're budget (and wife) is a bit more understanding you could go with a more expensive lift and get new springs and shocks etc. with it.   

I have to get a video camera.  I want to see Mark and Ed jumping out of Ed's Jeep to see who can get to the eggs first.  I can see them shoving little kids out of the way for the blue one with the candy.

Well, he had a pretty long conversation.  I guess the guy is tied up wrestling? this weekend so Bill and I are going out next Friday.  He wants me to take him so he can drive it home!  I told him I'm bringing my cash with me so if he doesn't buy it, I'll be driving it home.

He is not a member, so won't have access to that forum.  Come to our meeting this Sunday and you can get some insight into all of our upcoming plans for spring/summmer, but After Drummond we have the Jeep Blessing May 2nd, our trail maintenance trip in mid may, Badlands in Indiana in June, plus our 4wd safety/awareness training class, Silver Lake sand dunes in July, etc...

Oh.  His opening comment was that he's been around here before but been a way for a while so I thought he was a member.  My bad.
