I recently had my Jeep regeared. I was doing an oil change and noticed a slight weeping coming from the rear seal  of the front differential.  I did change the differential fluid at 500 mi. as recommended by Yukon, the gear manufacturer, and put in more fluid than listed because I also had new differential covers installed, 2qts vs 1 qt.  The added fluid was no where close to the fill plug hole. Please find a pic attached. Is this normal or should I be concerned?

Thx

Who did the regear?  Take it back and ask them.  It could be left over mess from the regear.  Wash it off and check  it after a few days to see how much it is leaking.  It does not look bad to me.

Thanks Ken, I contacted the company who did the re-gear and they advised to monitor it for 30 days and if still leaking they will replace the seal.

I went with the Solid Brand, so far I really like them.
