you want the least amount of rust poss they are unit body meaning the body acts as a frame if its to rusted you will have structual problems like things flexing that shouldnt

jeep jeep jeep!!!!!  get a xj they r cheap and easy to lift i see them for under a grand all the time  my brother in law works at the voa auction lot they sell for 300 bucks all the time there

the one problem we have had with past members (cough cough brandon) is that that most pick ups weigh a butt load and getting u unstuck may be a problem due to how lightweight a jeep is  why do u want a silverado ? they suck on trails and rocks due have a huge turning radius and are a pain to tow towing a pick up with a jeep is ass backwards wheel the cool waggy they are fun offroad

i used to get 17 mpg with mine i had a edelbrock intake and a Holley 600 cfm carb on it   i am running a edelbrock 600 carb on my yj now and havent had any problems with angles or bumps at all i wouldnt waste my time putting a gm tbi on it but if u want to i have a holley projection kit sitting in my shed all the parts and wireing is there just need a new computer i will let u have it for 50 bucks

i have owned 2 they are fun and ride great but the amc v8 has issiues the oiling ports get cloged in the head making them only live for about 124k   both of mine blew at that there is a fix for it it requires machining to the head i would look for a zj they r nicer and way more reliable and plentiful

i snaped the 2 inch pipe thats part of the engine mount and shattered the rest of the trans bellhousing

you might want to drill a hole on the collar of the shaft and install a grease fitting
