I agree with Mel to an extent. If you really want a good reference and etc etc, then you don't want to burn any bridges, but at the same time, to answer your sisters question.. Revenge!

I guess I would go with the phone call to higher, or try to work hand and hand with your manager, unless you don't care about a reference, which can be kind of a big deal I suppose.

I can't really give any great advice here man, and someone smarter than me would probably tell me revenge isn't the way to go. Good Luck!
