I attended a couple of your meetings 3 years ago when I bought my 07 Rubicon.  You seem like a great club, and I should have joined.  Then I procrastinated and got a 2nd job, wife had some medical issues.  3 years wasted when I could have been in the woods at least sometimes.

I have been able to wheel a little up in the Kalkaska area.  Mostly 2 tracking, some climbing.  This is my DD, so I do not beat on it too bad.  But wheeling with a friend as passenger in a lone vehicle miles from any main road is a little scary to me.  And not real bright I admit.

I have to find the time to get with you folks.  Even if I can only get away to wheel a few times a year, it would be a relief.

My Jeep is still pretty stock, well, except for the 6.1 hemi (lol don't ask I have always driven horsepower  ) I had 2TMO install before they closed shop.

I WILL find the time to ask to join, and get the hell away from the house and work.  Keep up the fine club!

Welcome back - there are always a couple of trips each year where your stock DD 07 would be right at home with my wife's stock DD 08.  Silver Lake is usually a June trip, but pretty poor turnout this year...and last.  October 16 we are headed for the West Branch/St Helen area for our fall color tour where we stick to forest roads, two tracks and marked ORV routes.

If you watch over on http://www.glfwda.org there is usually some sort of trail ride planned for each of the quarterly meetings - April was Silver Lake, June was Drummond Island (a little more aggressive than most of our quarterly trail rides), October will be the Trolls/GLFWDA fall color run in the Indian River/Pellston/Wolverine area, and January coincides with the SnoFari run sponsored by SoFO which has at least one stock group.

Welcome back to the site.  Maybe come to the 4x4 show in August and have a chance to re-meet some of the club members and hang out a bit... It would be interesting to see the hemi...

I have printed out the 4x4 flyer, and will mail it in with a check.  Sounds like a good time.

Thanks.
