Steve you are welcome to ride with me. I wanted to get 5 people in my truck to make it cheap on a bunch of us.

Right now I have myself,John,Matt and maybe Doug or Paul Hittie.

5 ways it would only cost us $20.00 each.

Do we have to have a vehicle to make it down the trails or can I offer to car pool a bunch of people up in the dually?

It turns out that I will be here instead of at the Canfield Jeep & Truck Fest as previously planned.  I didn't find out until today.

So either I can ride with some one to help out if there is any extra seats available or I can offer to split the fuel with 4 to 5 people and take the dually up.  If it can get into some of the trails we can use the bed for transporting some of the debris out.

I know it's short notice, but I just found out today.

Thanks,
Anthony

I just got the GREEN light to go ahead and go.  I'll take Tony's passenger seat, if it's the one available.

What kind of gas milage does that dually get?

Approximately 21 depending on speed.  If I go 60mph I get about 21 to 22 if I go 70mph  I am down to about 19 or 20.

The truck should be fine on these trails Anthony.

Car pooling is gonna help everyone out gas wise.

Well then, I have 4 comfortable seats available, and 5 if some one wants to sit in the middle up front.   ::poke::

How many miles/hrs is it to this location?  I can calculate fuel that way and give the to be car poolers a general idea of fuel charges.

I can leave when ever the to be car poolers would like to leave.

I almost forgot.  My truck is a non-smoker.  We can stop for smoke breaks if we have to.

Thanks,
Anthony

Roughly 180 miles up there.

I plan to leave my place at 6:30 am Saturday morning to be at the DNR station on M-33 before 10 AM.

My truck is for smokers if that helps any. ::ouch::

Is there a game plan set on how we are going to attack this project? Also since we have groups of people drive up together, what are the food plans, breakfast, lunch , dinner. Bring your own cooler or one master cooler?

I am leaving at 6:30 am. We are starting the clean up at 10 am. Plan for lunch on the trail. Dinner will be cooked at the cabin. The club is buying dinner.

We plan to split into 2 groups and work toward each other.

Steve you riding with me???
