It is done except for frame tie ins and a new tray for the can mount. Pics are in the "What did you do to your Jeep today" thread.

Must be new bumper day.    I have to get a pic of it all together after the Jeep gets a wash.

That would be me and Mrs. Rallykid. Had to be down there for an ultrasound on the little one that is coming soon.

Adam mentioned tonight that he is looking for JK tow hooks for his stock bumper. He is hardly ever on here and hasn't been online much in general so I thought I would throw the word out. If anyone has a pair let me know and I will pass the word along or grab them for him.

I may need heavier rear springs after we mount this thing.  :shock:

A few parts didn't survive teardown. I have some bolt holes that I need to get welded up for things I will not be putting back on and an extra bracket to get cut off. Hope to have it sandblasted this week.

Thanks to a heads up from Neil and a road trip with Mitch I scored a new bumper and tire carrier. It is an early Koz Offroad built by Koz when he was still doing all of his own welding. It needs a lot of cleanup and new bearings but for the price it is worth it. Especially since I can get it sand blasted for beer money.    Going to replace the bearings in the spindle and clean up the stuff that I don't need, coat it in bedliner and bolt it up. All of the extra screws, bolts, nuts and associated hardware are accounted for except for the bottom plate for the Jerry can mount and the frame tie-ins.

Not today but over the course of the last few days since I have been off. Got my JKS adjustable trackbar installed, alignment is done, stripped the paint off my rock sliders and refinished them with bed liner. Also removed my rear tire carrier as the tailgate couldn't take it anymore. As soon as the taxes come back it is time for a new bumper and tire carrier. I can't put it off any longer.

I will keep an eye out for anyone looking. I have a 30 now but was looking for something in the 125 Gallon range for upstairs and eventually something in the 180-220 gallon range for the basement when it is done.

I talked with Jason and he has the trackbar that I need coming in Thursday so I am going to get it there. It is about $5 difference total than Jeeperz Creeperz. Would definitely spend more than $5 in gas driving to Canton and back.  

I have never had a problem with work at Unlimited and they have always taken care of me. There have been a couple of times recently that they have been slow to return calls. I am not sure if the shop is that busy or if something else is going on but other than that I have never had an issue with them. I will give them another shot as other than slow call backs I have no complaints.

That is good enough for me. I trust your opinion and if they support our events then I will support theit business. Probably going to head down there Thursday or Friday for the new trackbar.

Curious on opinions of these guys. I have had problems getting Unlimited to get back with me in a timely fashion and promised time frame the last couple of times I have contacted them and from talking to a few other people I am apparently not the only one. So I started checking
around for other options. They have what I am looking for in stock but want to make sure they are decent to deal with before I drive all the way down there this week.

I am sure some of you have dealt with them so what are your opinions?

What size tank? I may be VERY interested in this if it is a big tank.

Would have been happy to jump in and lend a hand but I have been at work all day. Trust me, I would have been much happier changing your ball joints.

I requested the day off but haven't gotten the schedule yet. If I get it then I will be there along with J9.
