as an after thought and the excitement of the word free wearing off i realized that 4.2 is not the same as a 5.0...i'm sorry no engine parts but anything else that might work or be usefull...

found a CJ 8 frame that i might be able to make work and maybe fabricat a nice little pickup bed into the back end with the extra length

same reason a 4" lift is only 3.5"

So last night i was headed south out of clio on saginaw and someone turned in front of me to go onto wilsoni flipped onto my drivers side and slid ioff the road almost into the memorial sign for the kid that died at that corner...78 cj plus newerish ford taurus does not make a brand new kind of vehicle....just 2 broken ones...i'm okay they were okay cj...she's hurt...bent frame i'm pretty sure i haven't looked at it in the daylight yet i will on monday. i'll take some pics.

So i dont suppose anyone has a list of decent boneyards with a good selection of jeeps. if there is can you point me in the direction of it if not maybe there should be one in here? on a sticky would be reasonably exciting.. ::woot::

Yeah i thought so too and for a song and a dance at that ::woot:: ...at first i had some questions on whether or not it was a 302 or an amc 304 but i brushed the numbers on the block and it looks to me like its a 304....its all full of bondo so i have my fingers crossed that whoever did it did it right and i dont fall to peices this spring....we'll see tho
