Have you sat through one of our meetings wondering what part of the state our ORV route maintenance project is in?  Or worse, have you choked on dust all day on a trail maintenance trip to Atlanta but never really knew where you were at?

The DNR has recently updated all of the ORV trail maps using recent GPS data and incorporating all of the recent changes to the system.  The area we are responsible for is detailed on this map:

http://www.midnr.com/publications/pdfs/ ... _trail.pdf

In the past, this collection of routes was called Brush Creek, Elk and Tomohawk, but is now collectively referred to as The Atlanta Route.

The complete collection of maps is at: http://www.michigan.gov/dnr/0,1607,7-15 ... --,00.html

The trouble is all of the printed map books for MI just became obsolete - we got lost trying to follow my Blue ATV trail map book last trip up there, doesn't match what is on the ground.

I like these! I was trying to download the maps earlier this year and got the older one that looked like it was photocopied 10x more than it should.

I found our grid area that we need to work on!
