Hey Everyone-

I have been reading reviews on-line for sway bar disconnects for the JK and the winner seems to be the "Quicker Disconnect" from JKS ($140.).  I was going to order a set this week.  Keeping in mind that I am no mechanic, is this something we can install ourselves or am I better off having Unlimited Offroad do it?  Reading the PDF instuctions from the JKS the only thing that looks a little difficult is they are very concerned that they are mounted at a specific angle and that makes me a little nervous about doing it at home...  What do you think... can somebody give me a hand "wrenchfest" style, or shoul I take it to the pros?

Ed-  I know that people like the JKS but I have also heard good things about the Teraflex ones.  I ordered a set directly from the Teraflex rep and only paid $60 for mine.  I have yet to instaall them though.  I can give you his contact info if you want it.

I was working at my store in Taylor yesterday and after seeing all the various affirmatives from the grouop, I stopped by Jeeperz Creeperz and picked up the JKS disconnects.  So, who might be available to help with the install?  Volunteers?  I happen to be off tomorrow if anybody might be available during the morning... If not let me know what might work! Also picked up some grab handles while I was there - bouncing around the sand dunes without them made us quickly decide they would be a wise investment.

I've got some work to do on mine either Fri or Sun - I'll already have the tools out and compressor on if you want to bring it here

INstalled the disconnects with Paul H. on Friday Morning.  Maybe we can try the rock course at the mounds this sunday before the meeting to test em out...
