SOLD

So January 20th, I made a trip with some friends up to the Cadillac area for a snow run.  I made it to the end of the trial minus 400 yards when my electronic throttle control light came on  and the Jeep died.  I managed to get it started and winched myself out of the trail as I had almost no power.  I ended up driving home in limp mode never getting over 28 miles per hour.  It took us 7 hours.

Once I got it looked at, it was determined that the wiring harness and seven sensors were bad.  After being down for 5 days they got it back to me.

Once I picked it up I found that the dash indicator for the gear selection was not accurate and the Jeep would move forward a bit in reverse and backwards in drive for a brief second until it figures out what gear it was in.  I was planning to take it back this week to have them look at it again, but on Firday the check engine light came back on so I took it back in.  They discovered it was another bad sensor and that the catalyic convertor needed to be replaced.

Finally got it back last night at 6:00.  I left there, put it in 4wd and pulled out onto the road.  I immediately felt a weird vibration underneath.  I thought maybe some ice was inside the wheel well or something.  The vibration turned into a thumoing and grinding sound.  I took it back this morning and they inormed me that my front axle was snapped in half.

I cannot figure out how that axle was fine when I took it in and in two when I got it back.

My luck needs to turn around.

I have a brand new, still wrapped roller fairlead.  I used a different one when in installed my winch so this one needs a home.

I have a 3' Firestik 2, 15' of coax with the fire ring and firestud for sale.  I used it in my original setup but have now changed what I am using.

At the meeting we talked about getting a group together for the Mounds this weekend.  I fiigured a poll would be the best way to set it up. When can you go.  Somebody throw out a time too!

I have a Palm Treo 650 that will work with Verizon Wireless for sale. I got a Blackberry and have no need for the Treo anymore.

The purchaser will get the phone, battery, stylus, USB cable, wall charger and car charger. I don't have the software disk, but you can download the latest stuff on Palm's website for free.

The phone is in perfect mechanical condition. There are some scratches on the case, but the screen has all the pixels working and has no scratches.

I am asking $75.00 for it.

So I was out in the yard yesterday and thought a nice sounding motorcycle was coming up Hill Rd.  As I am looking to see it, I learn that it is actually Paul Hittie on his new treads.  You said that it has a nice little tune, but man that screams!!!!! :lol:

Saw Doug with Cody in tow on Dort near 475 tonight.  We were on our way home from Huckleberry Railroad.  My boys pointed you out to me.

With help from Neil we got my lift installed last weekend.  I now have my wheels and tires, so here it is.  My JK with a 2.5" Teraflex Budget Boost, 34" Nitto Terra Grapplers and American Racing Black Fuel 321's.

I don't know everyones Jeeps yet, but I spotted a Black TJ (I think with a tan soft top) first at Spud Software in Grand Blanc and then at Sainaw and Center st 5:30 yesterday.

I bought a Tera Flex 2.5" budget boost today for my JK.  I have very little mechanical ability so I am looking for some help to install it.

Neil has been generous enough to offer me his garage and tools to do it.  We will dive in Saturday at 5:00pm.  

I am happy to buy beer and pizza for anyone who wants to help.

We are headed to Drummond Island for the Jeep Jamboreee tomorrow morning.

Can't wait.

I will post some pics when we get back.

I am looking to buy a CB but don't know where to go locally to get one.  Any advice or direction would be helpful.
