Post by: 4x4x4JK on April 23, 2008, 01:33:28 PM
I found this on another forum I am on.

It seems to be for a good cause.  If anyone has an interest in going, please let me know.

I have it in an e-mail now, if anyone wants the info/maps e-mailed to them.

The ride is June 7th in the Manistee National Forest.  It will start and finish at Woody's Bar.  The run is about a 3 hour ride.  The cost to go is a $5 donation.  The donation will go to a fund for a woman from Muskegon who became paralyzed recently.  She fell out of a tree trying to get a cat down for her daughter.  She is currently undergoing  stem cell treatments at and American clinic in Peru in hopes of walking again.  (Stem Cell Therapy is not legal in the US).

There is a drivers meeting at 10:00am and the ride begins at 10:30am.  There will also be a 50/50 raffle.

The event is being held at Woodys Bar.  The address is 8765 Goldenrod, Bitely, MI 49309.  Basically M-37 North to 11 Mile to Woody's.

Fifth/Third Bank has a charity fund set up as well.
