Anyone interested in going to the Mounds Sunday?  We are thinking of heading that way and I thought I'd post it, unless anyone else is planning on Wheeling elsewhere that day.

Apparently I made the "whoops" section of the April issue of Petersons.  Anyone get the physical magazine?  I can only find digital copies.

Mark, Russ and I went to the Mounds today -  first time my TJ has been out in years!

Throwing it out there - most of the club is going to Grayling but I am sticking closer to home for the maiden voyage of the TJ.  Heading to the Mounds on Sunday if anyone is interested in joining.  I think Mark is going to try to make it out as well.

For those not attending the Kentucky trip, your invited to come on over for a cookout and bonfire.  We have a huge pile of wood from the ice storm and thought what better way of getting rid of it!  We are located in Perry just off of I69.

I utilized the "Cubby" that used to be the ash tray on pre-2004 WJs and installed my Cobra Ultra 19 radio.  The lower section of trim is only snapped into place, took a large flathead screwdriver and pried each edge and it popped out.

Took and cut the lower half and bottom out of "cubby" and slid the CB in,  drilled hole for the thumb screws to hold it into place, wired it up and "snapped" the trim section back into the dash.

Now I just need to get the antenna mounted.

Got report of a few issues yesterday with the forum, I worked for a while trying to get them worked out, I think I have the reported kinks worked out, but if you notice issues please post them here.

Anyone want to hit the Mounds on Sunday Sept 2nd?  I wanna wheel!

Got it all finalized this morning, now a proud owner of a 2004 WJ w/ a 4.0L, 98k on the ticker.  The ZJ was on it's dying leg.  Dealership took it as a trade in, and swapped the tires off the ZJ (the Treadwright ATs).

Driving it up to the Flint area I discovered the windows didnt roll down... (shame on me... it was 100* out when I test drove it).  Stopped by Matt's and we traced it to a broken wire in the driver side door hinge. Fixed it, everything is in order (thanks again Matt!)

35" spare or rollers

Long story short, I need to get my Jeep moved, and with 2 flats I need to find a 35" tire to throw on, or a set of rollers on rims... any chance someone has something sitting around?

Well, I am in need of some "new" tires for my TJ, and I am on the hunt for some inexpensive 33s or 35s with decent life left in them... Jeep is now sitting with 2 flats at my parents house and they are moving soon... 

If you happen to run across a set, please let me know... Cheaper the better, I guess...

So, the past few weeks we have been struggling with spam bots bombarding our forum... I apologize for this, and after investigation it appeared to be the fact that the forum software used was full of security holes that let the spam happen.  Over the past couple of days I have been working on transitioning the data from the "old" forum to a new system.  Tonight Matt and I finalized the style and permissions and I feel that it is ready for the "switch".  I have disabled the old forum, setup appropriate redirects and we should be good to start using the new forum.  All the user accounts, posts, PMs, ect have all been converted to the new database.  The only thing that might be lost was posts that were created in the past 24-48 hours, I apologize, when I checked, there were a couple in that time frame. 

So, if you see any issues or run into any problems please send me either an email (cldean86@gmail.com) or shoot me a PM on the forum.  If you have any suggestions, let us know as well!

I am excited at the possibilities presented to us with the new software and look forward to a quicker and less... "spammy" forum!
