I am going to regear my JK.  Ima debatingbetween 4.88's and 5.13's. I talked to Unlimited Offroad today.  They want $300 per axle in labor.  I have never had anything done there and know that gears are intricateand you want someone who knows what they are doing.

Has anybody regeared and if so, where?  How much?

When I started asking around, Kevin at Jeeperz Creeperz was the cheapest, $1200 including gears, install kits and labor.  That sounds pretty close to UORC, $600 for labor, $200x2 for gears, $100x2 for install kits would be right around $1200 as well.

UORC has always taken good care of me, only one complaint in the 2+years they have worked on my Jeep.  Kevin has also always been great to work with.  Both are GLFWDA Associate members, make sure you mention you are a member to get their best price.

UORC wants $1500.  They are including the AEV Procal which is a $129 piece. I would like to have it but I am having trouble figuring out where the other $250-$300 is going.  I would like to tyr to keep it local.  It is nice to have UORC in our backyard, but it has to make financial sense.

Kevin is not close or convenient, but worth a call
