new to jeeps so lookin for advice, ive heard of spacers, and springs w/t-case drops,lookin to do it cheap, till i can save for something better, as my 4x4 skills improve :?:

I went the cheapest way for a good lift..

Went to GL4x4, bought springs, shocks, and a t-case drop... Then I sold it to Cody and am currently in the process of buying it again.

You can get those three things for about $250.. then you just need wheels and tires.

Depends on how big you want to go.  We did 2" budget boost ($100) 2-4" shocks ($140) 1" motor mount lift ($86) and 1" body lift ($140 or so) on our LJ.  Lets me run 33" tires and no changes to track bars, control arms, sway bar links or any of that funky stuff.  Tires rub the control arms a smidge at full lock on the steering, but we are running stock 8" rims with 33x10.50 tires.  Plus the MML eliminates the need for a transfer case drop (which on my YJ I hate).

we are going to go with a 3 inch spacer kit on her zj  214. on ebay with shocks     plus another 55. for the upgrade shocks they come with crappy ones they have the same kit for tj's  here is the link  http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jeep-Wra ... enameZWDVW
