i agree with the possible hydro. Since you cranked it alot with no firing.  Seems odd to seize up other wise in that short time.

So... I just bout a wrecked 97 TJ with a 2.5L that runs.  The frame is tweaked, going to pick it up Thursday.  Problem solved :-D

Oh and the guy that sold me the motor made it right, we are square.

Well the wrecked wrangler fell through, the guy was a joker...

Bought a 2.5L with all new components, bored 60 over.  

I am to the point of wresting the transmission in place, and need some help.

Anyone want to help me wrestle a transmission in tonight after 5pm when I get out of work?

Got it in and hooked up, thx doug!  Not getting spark, the CPS is plugged in, I will work on it in the morning, no work tommorow! w00t
