I have a friend who is selling his YJ. It is in decent shape but there is a catch, it is in Springfield Missouri. Helluva road trip but if you know someone down that way or don't mind traveling a bit.....

Here is exactly what he told me:

1989, 6cyl 5 speed. Hard top and doors, paint sucks, body is straight. One spot of rust on the rear, by the tailgate. Not rusted through, but not just surface. Drivers side floor board is rusty. Pugeot 5 speed.
175000 ish miles. Motor was rebuilt probably 10 thousand or so ago, the guy I bought it from did it. I have a butt load of receipts where he bought all the stuff. The motor seems fine, but of course it still has the stock POS computer controlled carb, and smog bull crap on it. 4wd works. No carpet.

$3,000. I figure the person who buys it, will sell the top and doors and use it to wheel with. I could probably get a close to a grand out of the top and doors. (around here) So, figure about 2k for a decent start to a trail rig.

I am sure he would be negotiable on the price as he just bought a new truck. Let me know if you are interested or know anyone down that way who might be.
