shorten a dana 60?

was any one narrowed a dana 60 axle i just got a free one but its from a motorhome dont know the gear ratio yet but its low i'm sure but its wide and i need to cut it down so any sugestions would be helpful     and yes brandon my grammar  is bad

its from the father in law i have to endure plenty of bullshit from them its the least he can do. someday you will see just what i mean .

its the shafts i'm worried about the spline's and all i'm not scared to cut it i just want to be able to put it back together someday
