what is it doing?  Nothing. lol.

It did the same thing it did when my clutch went out last time...  All of a sudden I couldnt shift, then when I did get it in gear, it dosnt go anywhere... There is also nothing to the peddle.

Could be the slave also. Did you check the fluid level?

Probally not but worth a shot.

Except we gotta wait for Brandon to get back in town - nothing makes a trans job easier than having a guy around who can hold the transmission in place for 40 minutes while the rest of us have a beer and figure out which bolt goes where!!

Hahaha. Only thing is I think Neil is the one who benchpressed my tranny into place... For a little guy he's pretty strong. :P :P :P :P Kidding Neil!

so, we got the clutch on (thanks doug), but we faught that dang trans for a long time trying to get it to mate up...  then we gave up and I went fishing, lol.

I will pry work on it again Sunday afternoon...

This may not be the problem, but check your throw-out bearing and slave unit and see if that is compressed or will compress.. if it is not fully compressed away from the clutch, you will have a hard time mating the trans to the engine. With the hydrolic lines disconnected, it should compress on it's own.
