ORV sticker question

Do you need one to take your Jeep or any other vehicle out on the ice ? Not that I'm planning on doing that . Also .. do you need an ORV sticker to go out on the ice for your snow mobile or quad .

Page 13 - looks to me like operating on the ice is governed by the ORV laws in general, and in general we only need ORV permits for scramble areas.  I would check with the local DNR office first, however.

I am pretty sure it only applies to ATVs,  If you vehical is registered then an ORV sticker is not needed.  Even with the ATVs I have herd people fighting and winning with the tickets.
