That is what John had I think.  That is awsome and is under 200 bucks most places so it will pry be my next investment.

I have an old Magellan Sport Track - it works very well, but only has 8MB memory.  That just barely covered the route from home to Attica.

I have a Garmin etrex Venture. It's CRAP! Don't buy it!!!

I only use it as a waypoint marker cause the dam thing only has about 1MB to put maps on it with (equalivant to a small town).

That's it exactly...don't have to download any maps...it's all in there, but not very good for trails...great for soccer moms (and me)...it's not the best but it does work nicely...and has a memory card slot, plays MP3s...it's windows CE based and can be hacked into to watch movies, etc...

I have had it since feb, have used it very frequently mostly on road trips (St. Louis, Tennessee, Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Philidelphia, etc..) and it is a great tool....

Thing is, you can now get a nice GARMIN for about $260~$280...i don't know what my next purchase will be
