I need a starter for a 2000 Jeep Wrangler with a 2.5L.  I figured I would try the forums before going and dropping more cash than I have right now...

Try Fredd's Auto Salvage in Saginaw. They have one listed 989-799-3415

Or INtegrity Auto & Truck in Owosso. They also have one listed 989-723-5188

I have one from a 4.0.  Don't know if they are the same,

will one out of a newer 4.2 work ?? Does it have the solenoid on it ?? If so I have one here that doesnt work for my motor and its pretty new.
