ANYONE going to the creep? I would like to go but am not sure of room costs  anyone else going or want to camp out? looks like gladwin state park sofar as I can TELL DOES NOT HAVE CAMPING BUT THERE IS A rustic CAMPGROUND NORTH OF TOWN...There seems to be a complete lack of dare I say affordable motels in the area. Or is it I just cheap?

There used to be a motel 5 miles east of Gladwin in White Star. White Star is just a cross roads town at the corner of m30 and m61 but here is the info i found on the web

Camping is available at Gladwin city park for $23, doesn't get much cheaper than that.

I am still trying to talk the family into going... I guess it will depend on how much homework Gabrielle has this weekend.  We would probably just make a day trip of it...
