in the past 2 weeks i know 3 people personally who's dogs have died, there's also been aton of posts on gl4x4 about lost/passed on dogs. so of course my lab started moving slow yesterday. she's been really bloated for about 2 days so we took her in this morning and found out her liver failed. she's not in pain yet, but its only a matter of time. they gave us some med's that might help for awhile, but if she is suffering i have to put her down. really didnt expect it as she's only 9, needless to say everyone around here is pretty bummed around here

sorry to hear it brian...when you have a dog that long he/she becomes a part of the family......how long do they say she can be comfortable on meds?

they cant say for sure, i personally cant imagine it being very long

I am sorry to hear about your dog.  It is tough when you have to lose a family member.
