Ok I have what maybe a stupid question. When I put on my intake on my Jeep there were two gaskets a silver foil looking one and a blue one. Was I supposed to use them both ?? The reason I ask is I seem to have an intake leak but not really sure. When I spray starter fluid on the intake at the head after a few seconds it starts to idle up. But I am wondering if its not from the starter fluid evaporating from the heat of the exhaust n head. So ... do I have a leak or not ? Should I change the gaskets and use only one ?? :o
do you have a 4.0 or the 4.2?
he has the 4.2.
i know the 4.0 has a one peace gasket i'll make a call tomorrow my father in law has played with the 4.2 quite a bit its to late to call old people lol
