I had someone contact us via e-mail through the website with the following question. I called to advise him that I was not the most mechanically versed of the group, but if he was to post it up on the forums he would probably get some good advice. He told me that he was going to come to the meeting Sunday. So, if everyone can give this question some thought and come prepared with your ideas we can probably help a fellow Jeeper out! Here is the question:
I have a 1998 Jeep Wrangler and it wanders real bad at 45 miles an hour. It has a 4" lift kit the susp is not worn and I have just had an alignment. it has a brand new steering dampener with new tires. Do you know what is wrong or who I can take it too to get it fixed. Thank you for you help
Wonder what size tires ...
Wore out trac bar, allowing the axle to shift 1" either direction, looked really cool when he did the dry steer test.
Did anyone get his name and number? I'll take it off his hands! :D
