i got power ant the back light comes on, but no sound or channel display
its a cobra 19 ultra II

Sounds like an antenna problem .... Cody .... where are you ?!

yah sounds like Antenna or did you move the scwelch (SP)?

i figured it out, the cb was not getting enough power, bigger wire solved problem
