I would like a show of hands on who plans to go to the trail clean up weekend. May17-18.
I am trying to plan some things for that weekend.

I plan on being there. Already applied for a small loan in order to pay for the gas to get up there and back..lol
It's drill weekend for me, so I can't make it. But I'll be at the meeting this weekend.

I am planing to come up the morning of the 17th (early) and come back on the morning of the 18th.
I have a 4.5x 8 utility trailer with sides if that helps.
i'm fairly sure i'm in...will verify..probably need a ride (divide $$ for petrol).
As far as I know Ed and I plan on comming.
You can ride in the back seat with the kids John. ::poke::
I might go alone this time so if thats the case you can ride with me.

Brian, If my family doesn't go you and john can ride with me. Maybe we can all save money that way.

I spoke to Pat B from the Two Trackers - they are now doing Mio. They said there were a lot of trees down along the route. I also spoke to some of the quad and cycle guys last night at the ORV Adviosory Board Meeting last night in Lansing, they were saying the same thing about some of their trails in the NE LP too.
As of right now... I am out :-(
2 other peopole have that weekend off and have had it requested off since the first of the year... :cry: I am gonna still try to figure SOMETHING out.... Hopefuly...
im not gonna be able to go :(. i will probably play at the mounds on saturday for a little bit, but i cant go up-north for a weekend

Unfortunately I will be in Lima, OH at the 4WD Hardware Jamboree. We are vendors there so I will not able to attend this trail clean up.
Hopefully I will meet up with you all at Drummond for the Jeep Jamboree. I will be with the oversized group but we shall see.

Hi all, I cant find the info for the Trail Cleanup, where is it located?
Atlanta area. May 17-18 71 miles to do the clean up on. It will take all day saturday and probally half day Sunday.
Wouldn't mind going to a Jeep Jamporee, but they are WAYYYYYYYYYYY over priced for a trail run. It's good if you are single, but take a small family it would cost me close to $1000 just in fees. I am sorry, but that is nuts.
IMPORTANT TRAIL MAINTENANCE UPDATE
Paul Mulder, the GLFWDA sign installer, was in Atlanta over the weekend to do the signs (he had already scheduled next weekend to help the SoFO guys in West Branch). He and fiance Melanie ran all 71 miles and he believes there is NOTHING more that needs to be done before Memorial Day to pass inspection. He suggests waiting until everything is leafy and green later this summer (our August trip) before we head up to do any weedwacking. I spoke to Neil today and he and I agree that with the cost of fuel, if Paul and GLFWDA are OK with us skipping this weekend, we can save a bunch of gas $$ and stay home.
Since this spring run is worth about $852 to the club, plus the meal we were going to buy for Saturday night, plus the personal fuel bills we (OK "you" since I wasn't going) will not incur, that maybe we should consider throwing some money Paul's way. I'll post a separate poll/thread with details.

we had discussed a vassar trip, if not yet, there will be a post soon
I just want to go. My son was excited to go on the trails, so wherever we ride will be fine for me.
