Welcome to the board.  We have our meeting Sunday June 7th if you'd like to come out and meet some of us and we also have trips planned for the June 13th up to St. Helens area and our annual Silver Lake trip the following weekend.  Look forward to wheeling with you sometime...

Julie, Gabrielle and I were up on Macinaw Island on Saturday the 23rd for the day.  Had a great day and also took tons of pictures.  Toured Ft. Macinac on the island and got to see them fire the late 1800's model springfield breech loaders and the cannon.  We took the carriage tour and saw archrock, etc.  Didn't get down where you were to get pictures of the rock from below - those are nice pics!

We will be having our next meeting on June 7th at Sharky's on the corner of Bristol & Center.  We are also planning some wheeling up north for the following weekend if you would be interested in joining us for some two tracks, etc.

We had inventories scheduled at the last minute and I will need to be down in Taylor, MI on Sunday night.  So, I will be missing this one.  We are planning on being at Mitch's for the party Saturday, so hopefully I can put my two cents in with everyone at the party.  I did want to talk about the meeting format and my perception on part of the reason the club sorta got bogged down...

That does look sharp with the sponsor logos.  Nice JoB!

That's a sweet looking rig.  I love the snorkel!  If you see some of our pics from the liberty last year, you will know why i am a big snorkel fan...

Wow, unreal... I am looking forward to seeing the beast when it finally arrives, though.

Here are a bunch from those who satyed in the late afternoon.  Brain amd I from the club, and two of his buddies.  Tyler, in the orange jeep, has been to a couple meetings and Scott, in the Suzuki.  

I missed the early stuck-in-the-mud festival for the most part, but made it to the mounds at about 2:30pm.  The side going out to the rock park was super deep, thick mud for the most part. I was amazed I made it out to everyone...  A lot of people had to split once everyone was pulled out of the mud, but a few of us stayed and hit some of the bowls and such.  See the pictures section for a few nice shots... Had a great time.  Thanks to everyone who made it.

Julie is out of town this weekend, and I am turkey hunting saturday morning.  I have a couple phone interviews to do in the afternoon as well, but I would like to get out there again with everyone...  I could probably squeeze in a couple hours...

I was also thinking of going up for the world beer tour... Anyone else interested in driving up to franklenmuth after a few hours at the mounds?

I was wondering about them... Darn.  Too bad for the folks there.  One more blow for the local economy...

How was the Jeep Parade? Did you break the world record?  Are you going to get a certificate or something saying you are a world record holder for participating?

I really wanted to go again this year - especially for that reason.  Gabrielle's dance recital was that night, so we had to stay home...
