I bought a GenRac brand 6500watt gen. at Costco for about $800 and for the club you can get a Harbor freight flux core wire feed welder for $100.

One of the issues I see is if we purchase any of the above we will end up having to buy a new trailer because I don't think even a gas compressor will fit in the door of our current trailer.

Well I was just looking at the members pictures and noticed there were a few new ones since my last look.  Looking good guys but we still need some of those blank spots filled with pictures.  Also remember my daughter will be at SLSD in July to take family and group shots on Sat. and Sun. (free of charge). Any Questions? PM me.

Went to the Buggy builders show in Lansing today and spoke to some people from the Silver Lake Recreation Association, and I joined. Not much info yet but I do know they volunteer to work the gates at SLSD. You can also friend them on FaceBook...if you have a FaceBook page.

That is yet to be decided but there are 3 near Nashville but it is only 2 hours from Windrock so we will discuss that in a future meeting. Leanne found a campground near Nashville that offers a shuttle to downtown

I talked to a guy from Mayhem Offroad Rock Crawl Park and he said it ain't for stockers . If you have a extreme buggy you will need to bring extra parts. It is only about 80 acres but suggested i go to HardLineCrawlers.com or Damn Locals 4x4 Club (clayne.websitetoolbox.com/) for info on local parks.

The 3 close to Nashville are Wooly's offroad, Adventure offroad park and Mayhem offroad rock crawling park. the latter doen't have a web sight but I will call them later this week to get more info. There are many other parks scattered all across Tenn. so we can discuss and decide later. I will try to have info for the April meeting on parks, motels and camping
